I think what he meant was not all blind people see only black. Some still see very blurred images.

This is an ad for the public, not some article illustration in a medical paper. Criticism is good but your 'problem' doesn't hurt the message which is perfectly clear.
We get it.
However if something doesn't ring true,
or isn't exaggerated enough, people will question it. It's not a critisim of the ad's communication, more so on it's truth.
