its working
u didn't need that headline. take it out. and it's more powerful. with the headline, you're limiting the viewer's imagination, without it, the viewer can imagine a whole lot of things.
hi
i loved it
i dont agree with inkpen about headline... sorry ;}
it is too beautiful
The idea is working. I would work on the copy a bit more though. Maybe it can be simpler.
Real nice idea. Yes, the copy could have been better...but overall a good one.

i love the concept. but i have to agree with some of the other comments... the copy either needs to be punched up (no pun intended) or omitted.
but the visual is superb. good job and gread insight.

Good work
thanx buddy
Nice photo, very nice.
Nice idea. Think an headline more efficient. More strong.
Isn't it a little offensive to women to show a lip gloss representing the female gender? esp advertising a serious manner like this? How would you guys like it if there was an ad for violence against guys where the visual was a broken glass of beer?
"I don't live in Greece, Greece lives in me..."
HellaLover, I don't think it is offensive to work with some generalizations about men and women. Both men and women drink beer, but it's true, generally speaking, that women are the predominant buyers and users of lipstick. There's no value judgment in that; it just is. A better analogy for men would be a necktie -- again, predominantly bought and worn by men.
To the original poster, I think this ad is very powerful. But, as noted by others, the copy needs a little work. How about just "stop violence against women." and/or a website URL.
And no disrespect meant to your opinion, HellasLover. I agree that advertisers (and everyone) should be aware of, and keep in check, their preconceptions and stereotypes.
I asked my girlfriend if she found this ad offensive and she said no. I guess I am the only one that finds it "wrong" in a way, even though I do understand what you 're saying. I just think a different approach would have been more appropriate (for me, anyways) maybe if I wouldn't feel the same way if the image was a close up of a woman's lip, with lip stick on, with blood dripping. I just don't agree showing a materialistic object like a lip stick to advertise this cause. Not to mention that without copy I would have assumed that the lip stick had simply melted somehow, I can't really tell it's blood because the lip stick is red. The same way if the image was of a red nail polisher I would think at first that the bottle had a crack or something and it had leaked.
It's just how i see it =)
