Looking for creative position in Dubai

Hi,
I am looking for an art director position in Dubai having worked in London for the last 3 years with a few big names TBWA, Mother, CHI, etc etc. As of now working for a medium sized agency in London but want to make a move to the middle east soon. Consider other cities in the Middle East besides Dubai. It's a great city, but very busy and the traffic is shit.
You can make more money in Bahrain and especially, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Saudi. In Riyadh the salaries are up to 200% higher than in Dubai. Of course Riyadh and Kuwait are dry, so drinking isn't as easy as in Dubai or Bahrain.

Advertainment, from what ive seen on this blog the most creative agency in Dubai seems to be Tonic, perhaps you can google them to get more info. Than ofcourse Im sure all the big ones are there like TBWA, Leo Burnett, BBDO etc. Phone them up, get the CDs email address and send them some of your work, you know how it works ;-)

just wondering does having a very english humoured portfolio hinder the process of getting a job in the middle east...sent some work over to US based agency and everyone english i know liked it alot but everyone american just didnt get the joke and it wasnt even something that only the english would know!!!
so thinking is it good to have a folio for the middleeast specifically or its just my luck?

Guys, before moving to Dubai, I would recommend checking the cost of living there first. My friend is paying 2500 USD for a single bedroom flat, unless you wanna live in a shared villa.
