Dubai is a booming city - but most sources say it can be hard to break into the ad industry there. I would definitely recommend following ad industry execs' blogs, speeches, etc. so that you can stay up on the industry trends.

Knowledge about the industry helps when interviewing. Also maybe consider creating your own content/portfolio or entering a contest like the Young Lions film fest in Cannes. Those vids (http://share.ovi.com/channel/YoungLions2008.public?page=2&sort=1) were all produced by teams of young people, and adding a credential/experience like that to your resume could certainly help get your foot in the door in Dubai. This is venkatesh from india.i studied course Diploma in footwear technology and cad designing also now iam working in pvt company in india as a designer.
Experience:6yrs.1year in Srilanka and other 5year working in india.

At present iam working in srilanka as a manual designer +cad.not only one work.what am doing here we are getting picture only from customer side then i will masking&design the style lines on the last as per picture shoe after making standard only for cad system and to load by digitizer that standard essaly to split all patterns within 1-1/2 hrs.Like moccasin,boot,sports shoe,casual men shoes etc...

The patterns will make grading all the sizes with restriction and english or french grading depending upon customer required grading.Once we getting approval master size.then proceed further.to make grading of all sizes and make a trial of closing&lasting after confirm the patterns with lasting &closing manager Productionwise friendly these after we release final patterns for DIE making.Better you will see my performance on interview.
