I didn't understand it because it didn't make sense.
Now that it's been explained, the idea makes sense but the execution fails.
It looks like this kid only had 2 toys, one of which was an absolutely mammoth G.I. Joe. Push it further. Why just get rid of his toys? I think the message you're trying to convey is that with a 360, little Billy needs NOTHING else. So have him donate everything.
Donating one small cardboard box to an orphanage does not convey the message that a kid has gotten rid of all his toys because he now has an XBOX.
Beyond that, XBOX is not a toy and it has never been marketed as such. It's an experience. Xbox sells gaming consoles but they don't market consoles; they market adventures. Add to that that all market research says that the average gamer is aged 39 and you have a product here that does not speak to the brand in any way.
Hopefully that's clear enough, Sufi. You can now resume your apple polishing ;)

I hate to jump on the band wagon, but I'll have to agree with rebelscum; It's not a bad idea, but maybe some more polishing with not only the concept but the actual execution as well. It's a little rough around the edges. Maybe reworking the contents of the box will help.

I don't get it.
What does a Cobra action figure have to do with an XBOX?
Also...that black border and title "Donation"...are they part of the ad? If so, lose it. If not, lose it. Either way...lose it.
But most importantly is the thinking on tnhis one, which makes no sense to me.
Can you explain?

Elaborate this idea. Vvisual of a garage sales with all the kid's toys?
