I think this is a great campaign. Resonates with me. The only problem it looks like a falling star rather than a shooting star. The upward movement would give it a more positive feel. But, I'm not very sure. Let's see what others think.

yeah we doubt about that as well, we want to use the cliche falling/shooting star, the star when you cab make a wish.. but which star is that? the shooting or the falling star?? Or is it a cultural thing? Here in Holland we make wishes when we see a falling star....well lets see what others say..

Strong idea!! could work with many more other countries!(US stars for oil pollution in Alaska), (Papouasie-Nouvelle-Guinée against deforestation) and more, maybe just using flags that everyone knows. I think that makin' wishe with the sight of a shooting star is common everywhere

well ofcourse we took every starred flaf in the world, but then we selected the most known flags in combination with relevant and recent problems so we came with the rainforest, panda and barrier reef..

Is this the final version? If not I'd suggest the use of real life flags or fine textured material. That would certainly spice up the art direction which is quite flat right now. I'm thinking in the lines of this: http://www.epica-awards.org/assets/epica/2005/winners/print/images800/... Which has a much more dramatic stern look over it, which will only emphesize your not so positive message.

cheers pal. we're still workin on the art-direction and what u suggest is one of the better executions so far.. ik posted it here just to know what people would think about the concept.. but the link ur sending is an awardwinning campaign, so we like to stay away from that, because i think the weakness of this campaign is that it's again a flagcampaign...

I have 2 cents I like to throw in.
I would use a shooting star, just for the fact that you want to raise hope. When the star is pointing upwards it sends a more positive message instead of a star that falls down. Falling down gives a negative message.

I know that there is a problem. But the fact that someone is making that wish is a sign of hope, so a positive turn. Goin'up.

Maarja dat is gewoon mijn idee. Is dit al ver gemaakt of een eerste schets? Ik vind het er wel goed uitzien, maar de graphics op de vlag nogal plat als je het vergelijkt met de randen en hoeken die schaduw hebben.
