Thank You - Environmetally Friendly Competitors

advert

As the leader in building innovative environmentally friendly homes, we would like to extend
a cordial thank you to all the other Lethbridge home builders for following our lead.

(Note: intended to show that this builder is the leader in the area. They want to "poke" at other builders about how they are leaders in environmentally friendly homes, and know that everyone wants "green" building methods, everyone else is now jumping on board. However, they are the pioneers around their city of green technology. Any input positive or negative is welcome.

I could sure use some ideas for the copy. I feel like I am missing it.

wrong logic. why has the tree made first place? this analogy doesn't make sense for me.

There are a few things behind this concept. (1) The large tree is a cedar tree to match "Cedar Ridge". (2) It is suppose to show how green the environment is when everyone (all home builders) are on the wagon. (3) The reason the tree has made first place is because it represents the cedar ridge company who was the first and continues to be the number one green home builder in our are. It is taller and larger than all the other trees. Not sure what else to add (wordnerd), hope that answers your question and thanks for the input.

Your rationale as cited above is too simplistic. You are a graphic designer and you need to think as a conceptual communications professional in order to do something brilliant here. Your solution looks like a bad design for a brochure selling homes in a sleepy American suburb. Come on, push it! Challenge conventional thinking. Do something different for all our sakes. Then post it here.
