Excellent CE, just make different backgrounds, and you got a killer campaign
I've got doubts about the last one #4. If they can tell you there is delay in the delivery. Why cant they include the pizza with the note?
...and let the poets cry themselves to sleep. And all their tearfull words would turn back into steam
true from minimum, also i would avoid using another brand name. its confusing.
Nice ideas, they need a whole new artdirection. Make each not different, different paper, handwriting, background etc etc
Cheers, I will definately make them all different places, papers handwriting etc. I just did this quick to show the lines.
I've added some new lines. Which are best?? Thanks
radio is brilliant
shooting star is great
i also really like the dinner one
the football, labour, the time and the pizza should be out. Thats just my opinion.
This idea is great.
I love the shooting star, the radio, and dinner, too. But they're all pretty good.
But I agree, you really need help with the art direction... However, if you're a copywriter, I wouldn't worry too much about it, really.
Cheers copy-can. I will re-post in a few days when I've had chance to art direct these. These was just to test the idea out ;)
These are pretty good. I agree with the comments about the art direction. Also, I would make sure that you can tell it was a letter that was sent. When I looked at the first one, "Your dinner..." I saw it as just a note left on the counter or something. If an envelope would have been visible, that would have made it quicker. Also, if Speedpost has a branded envelope like fedex, use that in the visual. That way, you don't even have to put a logo in the corner. Oh, and use real handwriting rather than a font. Creative directors will see the use of a font as lazy.
Finally: the ones where it seems that the people could be in the same room or area, (dinner, football and shooting star) don't seem as strong.
I've decided I hate signatures.
AJ?? Cheers man, need your comments dude.
keep it streamin.......................
The man who stops advertising to save money is like the man who stops the clock to save time
Really nice. Play more on the "balls about to hit your window" as this one is funny and resembles things that happen.
Only thing is i think yoiu need to do more art direction to make it look like the letter was received, perhaps have a corner of a speedpost package coming in or in the distance out of focus. You need to show it's been delivered and this looks like it could just be a note put through the door.
Very talented copy, work harder on the art direction.
