New way to look at Seiko watches. Let me know what you think.
I was a little intrigued with the idea of your approach, well finding a derivative of it (its not there yet) but then I noticed that the watch names were 'diver' 'driver' and 'pilot' which puts your ads dangerously into see-say territory. I was disappointed.
I would explore ads without using the names and push the concepts a bit further, could be something nice beyond the horizon.
Thanks. You're right about the 'see-say' territory comment. I was considering not running the names of the watches and just placing the SEIKO name below the each watch and keeping the other lines "you don't have to be one to wear one.." But now I'm not sure if this idea is worthy.
Please keep the comments coming! SL
Hmm, I don't know. People know that you don't have to be a pro athlete, or an obsessed jogger to wear Nike trainers but that's who the trainers are (at least apparently) aimed at and are good for that.
I agree. I just wanted to try to be funny and aim at the young and 'not yet wealthy/affluent' watch market. I'll have to think about these...keep the comments coming--I've got a thick skin.
Always take the high road. That's what I was told.
just thoughts - how about taking the route that the watches are complete, even if the person wearing does not indulge in the act. like Show these guys wearing the watches n write - A complete diver, without any diving.
A complete racer, without any racing etc. as if the guy feels as becoming one of them just by wearing one. may be work on the lines, these are spontanenous reactions.
what about exploring a guy like Schumacher? He buys a Seiko Driver and gets showered with champagne.
