Just well chosen quotes, but very creative in my opinion.
I agree with Ivan and I'm totally digging the way they look too.
Give those lines a little twist.
well, these ads are already published so i cant do anything else now. but you can tell me what kinda twist you are talking about.
Great background texture. I just wonder whether using a quote from Castro is a bit too predictable. There are many other famous cigar smoking personalities to choose from in history.
These are pretty sexy. I woulda thrown in at least one Earnest Hemingway quote, since he's a hero to the Cuban peeps (way more so than Fidel, anyway).
Design-wise, I think the copy could have been affected a lot more...semi-transparent Impact on a Bgnd is a little lazy.
I also would have liked to see variations on the backgrounds.
But 1st impressions: Fucking cool :)
