I'm from Bulgaria.
It's a paper bag for a bulgarian beer called 'Shumensko'.
The case printed on the bag gives us the so
called "how-this-granny-can-carry-the-effin-beercase?!" effect.

Looks great, but is it a light beer? And if it's known, then fantastic, otherwise who cares that a granny can carry the case unless it's for an energy drinks etc.
it's not a light beer.
just in bulgaria 6-packs are not very popular and
buying a whole case with 20 beers is widespread here.
so 'We distributed paper bags that turned pedestrians into free outdoor ads.
The optical illusion of people carrying with ease a case of beer in one hand,
entertains onlookers, as well ad the actual bag owners.', if you prefer:)
actually drunk dave sounds like he knows about it.
it would have been great for smthing like "new and lightweight beer case"
now its just a (clever) gimmick.
nice, dude! for me, you don't need this energy drink stuff. if that's a popular beer, it's fine. don't need to put more information into that idea

Just to let you know - we received two silver awards (one in OOH and another in Design) for this project at the Bulgarian Advertising Association Festival last week.
It's easy to carry that much beer...in your belly. It's just hard to walk.
This rocks. Friggin funny to see the older ladies carrying those bags. It actual made me look up the beer on google. Now I want to find some. So it works.

Okay, but please elaborate. It has the "woah, what?" effect when you would see this in real life, but you just have a Granny carrying this around town? Or is this a bag that you would give away in liquor stores. I think this is an okay idea that definitely needs to be blown out in a full campaign, not enough as a stand alone book piece. Keep going with it.

Cocochiller, we actually distributed the bags to people... and no, not just grannies
I guess this is a flaw in our presentation board - we probably should have shown younger people carrying it as well. Thank you for the suggestion to make it a part of a whole campaign. It does make sense I guess.
