Nokia: Connected

advert

For my book.
Billboards are installed close to each other to gives an impression of "Connecting People".

Those look like AKG headphones... where's the Nokia product?

alvinpck's picture

It's an idea. The visual is temporary. What would you suggest?

either showing a Nokia product, or better showing showing the concept of connectivity. Preferably both.

Will do with the Nokia product.
I've 'slided' both billboards together, what else I could improve on its 'connectivity'?

What you print on the billboards can go a long way to that end. Treat the two billboards as a single canvas to work on.

Thanks. Will work it on.

WTF? what a lame idea. Waste of time. bless u

Is this still rough?

alvinpck's picture

Yes it is. Just getting the idea across beforehand.

you're almost there.

First print the billboards exactly the opposite of how they are now...so the people are facing away from each other...one all the way on the right, and the other all the way to the left. PLUS: Don't put any branding on it, and don't have any product.

Then, maybe two weeks later, you reprint the billboards with the two people facing each other and using the product. and you add the nokia logo.

That would be much better.

But still not that great. :)

I like your idea too. A little expensive to execute.

if this is for your portfolio, who cares if it's expensive? (this type of time-lapse billboard thing happens all the time, anyway)

But: Your welcome :) and it's still not a great idea.

you need to use the space more. I know its just a spec ad but 2 96 sheets would be very expensive ( i knw thats been mentioned but its a valid point) to make it viable for the size of media, you need to use the space, your only utilizing a small percentage.

i like the idea of them reacting with each other just each 96 sheet on its own is boring and flat, try making them aesthetically interesting on their own, then link them should provide a better finished piece.

I think this sort of works client would actually buy. Regardless if it's a little expensive.
