Im not familiar with the 'AT RISK' stamp meaning? Is it used by some sort of establishment such as in police files or something?

I would think this is the integral component that attracts peoples attention and contrasts your message to create the ads idea... but I'm falling short on the significance of the 'AT RISK' stamp right now... maybe its just something I have never seen before?

The stamp isn't used by any sort of establishment other than NAF, who has developed it to use over any childs image, then the child is able to fill in their own goals on the below lines. But, yes, for the most part, it's the component that (hopefuly) attracts peoples attention and contrasts the message.

No, it's new this year. They've only run a handful of small space ads as of last year that were very straight forward and boring... kids face, give them money.. was about the jist of it

I like the concept, the contrasting visual/message... the visual just confused me more than tricking me I think. Maybe it would be more effective using recognizable visual cues? maybe something like a 'MISSING' poster. then the copy could say the NAF are missing Carlas smile since she opened her medical clinic in a 3rd world country.

Anyways hopefully im being constructive here versus completely way out into left field on this...

cheers

To me it's not the right way to approach with the problems at the third countries. You maybe can open a clinic in a third country to give your contribution as a voluntier where doesn't exist labour with qualifications in areas like medicine for example. In other ways you hear about "doctors" with no qualifications opening clinics in a G-8 countries for abortion for example. This is what I see from this work...double meaning...

there's really no significance to the clinic at all, it's just one of a dozen sub heads. The point is NAF gets them to their goals.
