Thannks all...i found out through research that guitarists place human like qualities on their guitar and consider it more of a friend than an object.
S'true...but don't they usually give them feminine qualities?? Girl names, all that stuff.

As a Petrucci fan, a guitar player and an attempt of a copywriter: guitars are more similar to girlfriends than friends. There was a very good TV campaign in Argentina where a guy wanted a guitar.
He was in a car with a girl and he drew the guitar shape on the glass window and didn't pay any attention to the girl. Now that's more like the guitar player - guitar relationship.
IDea isn´t that bad. I think less literallly would work better.
