Inconherent at the moment. A line could help pull it together, but I'm not sure what you're trying to say.

Arent energy drinks supposed to sharpen and stimulate your mind? Why is this person motor skills working at a 2 year old level ? ... or is it that its so intense i get uncontrolable shakes?
Are you working from a strategy here? What is the strategy?
It looks like you just graduated from a portfolio school, so maybe im just missing something here, wouldnt be the first time I've done that, but I'm really interested in what you're getting at with this campaign. because if I have it right, you should know better.
I don't mean to be harsh, even though you asked for it, this just comes off the tails of listening to a person lecture me about how portfolio school students will have a better career than people who dont go to an ad school.
interesting display of how this drink will affect you if you drink it. i'm not familiar with the target group, but if it's supposed to get you messed up and hyper, then you are illustrating that. although it does kind of look like a child was scribbling on the pieces. i wonder how one would react in other situations that don't involve writing skills? have you explored any other avenues for this product?
brandon is right, a line might help as well. i can't think of anything at the moment.
I think the idea is kinda funny. But, I think the reason there is disconnect with some people is the fact that the idea you are working off of is positioning this drink for parties, yet you show situations were people wouldn't drink this stuff like during a test. If what you ment to do was say this drink helps you stay up and concentrate then this idea isn't working. But, if you are saying this is a party drink then the situations need to be more in this context.
Also, I agree with ellehcimeo, try thinking of situations where writing is not required. Maybe you can make a funny situation out of a person who can't sit still.
to whoever submitted this garbage, the school you went to sucks, i'll bet it's run by some silly jewish guy named Jeffrey. also anyone who graduated from it would never get a great job, like at Crispin or something awesome like that.
I'm not even Jewish and I take exception to that. And by the way, your comment sounds like it was written by a 10 year old. If this portrays your writing skills, you aren't working for Crispin either.
But the best part is that you contradict yourself in your next comment by saying that people are judged on their books, not their school - yet you feel the need to say that anyone graduating from this guy's school will never get a great job. haha, thanks for the laughs. Get a life.
Clap Clap Clap!
He doesn't want to make any sense... he just wants to trash everything...
Lorem Ipsum dolor sit amet...
like a lot of people on here.
and to weighter, who ever you talked to is wrong, people are judged on their books, regardless of where they were schooled.
okay the idea is good i mean energy wise i understood it without reading anything but try to put a positive attitude into energy instead of showing that using this product is like having 10 pills of extacy after a tiesto concert ....
CCCHHHHHHhhhhheeeeeeRRRRRRRRRRrrrZZZZzzzzzzahhhhhhhhhhh
Lolllllll
I think I get where you are going with these ones. The problem is that energy drinks are supposed to give you "energy", not to give you tourette sindrom.
Guess it wont work, even with a line.
I agree. I wouldn't want this kind of energy. I don't think anyone would.
I think that You can make sth. worthy out of the first example in which there is a logic way out of the labyrinth. Perhaps drinking this mad-croc drink will enable You to find a creative but comprehensible way out of the maze.
I'd show this idea with a photography where a person has to walk from pont A to point B - without Mad-Croc this would mean the shortest way between the two points. A somehow creative solution would be that the person climbs upon some buildings and finds a suprising own way to get to B.
oh christ, i was gonna leave it an inside joke, but since jed's not commenting on it, i'll explain. I go to the school this guy graduated from. The director's name is jeff, and three recent gradutes just got jobs at crispin...so calm yourself.
hey, if you're going to write offensive copy that only one other person is going to understand, and you don't explain it as being an inside joke, accept the fact that you're going to get negative responses from people on the outside looking in.
Wow people, I leave for a day and craziness is happening. Ok so I need to explain these ads. This is a first. Its not rocket science. mad croc gives you energy, and lots of it. Thats all. There is no deep hidden meaning about navagating your way out of a maze. Just uncontrollable energy. Im actually alittle surprised people here dont like it. I was actually showing my book around last week in NY and a CD (at an agency i'd chop of a finger to work at) said he wished he had it in his book. But whatever I think some people here are alittle fustrated. Im off to bind another book for another round of interviews tommorrow.
>Just uncontrollable energy.
the problem is that your visual is not communicating this in a way which would make it desirable for the viewer- it says more sth. like being on cold turkey and trying to write.
Well since we're both being honest here, nobody is saying its rocket science... we're saying its way too basic and nonsensical and off strategy. Seriously.
CDs in NY care a lot more about great strategic thinking than a visual joke. Ive looked through your online book. And they suffer from any real insight, just shallow attempts at seeming like a good ad for the most part.
The only one I like is the wilson duckhunt one.
Shoes?Rent?Shoes?Rent?Shoes (eviction notice)... c'mon seriously...
i like this ad
i dunno why but it made me laugh!!
especially the job application one, it is like saying 'sod the job application, life is greaaatt!!!'
The line should be: "Come to Muhamed Ali book signing"
"Sex sells. Truth even better."
A friend
LOL!
THE AD-missionary
I DON'T KNOW I LIKE IT.I JUST LIKE IT.A LOT.
I like it! very much. This is expressing exactly how I feel after I took some really strong stimulants. So it works for me.
I like best the secondone. The form. And I tell you why. To fill that thing coul'd be really un pleasant when I'm on amfetamin. So line colud be, something like - You'd better go party. Other two are like free time activities not appropriate to target when you choose to express effect of stimulating drink in this way.
At the end, the problem I think is that 99 percent of people would never get this because they have never felt the violent effekt of good amfetas. take care
I like it too. But you should try to say "energy" instead of "nervousness". Quick suggestion: in the labyrinth thing you could show the guy went in an out ten times instead of once. Perhaps this sucks in execution, but you get what i mean? (Or the "you'd better go party" line ticho suggests. That would also work nicely i guess!)
Anyway, good stuff! Keep it up. it feels right and looks unique
i like the idea but the visual isn't very neat
whats in that stuff, horse tranquilizer?
i think these are pretty hilarious myself
It's ok. I think it works but it's not great. I can picture Joe from Family Guy chugging a can then letting out a scream.
catches ur attention
and relatable
but flip side is this will definitely turn off those looking to use energy drinks to sharpen their minds and increase their concentration...
though I guarantee that MEATHEADS will line up the stores and buy boxes of this product.
Cool ideas.
There may be something interesting by way of a campaign idea that could come from the word 'mad'.
If you kill my demons, my angels might die too.
The first one does it right on!
No stuff like that Bull... "Energizes and Revitalizes your mind and body"
Mad-Croc... Just gives you Instant Energy... Nuff Said!
