Lib Dems Poster/Rebrand

advertadvert

Hi, this is my first post here. I'm at uni studying Graphic Design, final year, and we have a project to turn an organisation's reputation around, I chose the Liberal Democrats. New logo and branding is brought across via the abbreviation of words, and the apostrophe in the typography works as the new symbol. The poster is meant to advertise that they are not a wasted vote, but I'm having a nightmare with the major tagline. Any ideas? Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

(Actual size A3, good quality image for print)

EDIT: I've added a second defined version which I think is a lot more effective. Agree?

The image is confusing.

It's meant to be the character grabbing the new symbol from the bin. This would be released soon after the new rebrand, which uses the apostrophe as the main symbol. It's meant to further establish the new symbol by directly using it in the campaign. The person has changed his mind on Lib'Dems being a wasted vote, so is taking them out of the bin.

none of that is coming through in your execution.
