I'm a photographer and I was a little surprised to have this ad rejected..... second opinion anyone?

Yeah, It's basicaly show and tell. You just say "dry skin?" and you show a man with dry skin. It's not convincing me in any way to use the product.
Show the solution, not something before.

no problem with the photography, but big problem as an ad
it's not a revolutionary ad but I'd keep it as a tear sheet in a photographers book. make the image a series, milk it -forgive me for the pun.

It's a great shot im sure it wasn't rejected on the basis of photography.
