This was published in men's washroom for indoor advertising boards. Got a really good reaction from people and did help to increase sales, but I just wanted to get some opinions from you guys.

This is absolutely terrible. Are you out of you mind!
isn't this ad *just a little bit* homophobic?
Good reactions? You're mother goes to the men's room?
- Here I should have written something smarter -
I have no idea what is going on in this ad... :(
Is definitely good ideas
This vaguely reminds me of Koodo's ads which cut undesired cell phone features - but at least those ads *pick* discernable features. I have no idea what "fat" is being cut from the Kia.
Wish I could say something positive about this, but I really can't. It actually boggles my mind as to how something like this got published, sorry to say. Was this the actual ad that was put out?
The idea comes from the fact that this particular car that they were pushing to sell (with basic features) cut's through the fat of all those "expensive cars we pay for simply because of a brand name or interior and exterior features that don't truly make a difference in getting from point A to point B. That being said, the price point is extremely low for what Canadian's are used to (e.g. flat of beer in USA $18...flat of beer in Canada $45. So you can imagine the car prices. I am not defending whether you all like it or not, but it created both a positive and negative response in the community here (boards in men's washrooms) which led to buzz. Anyway keep those commments coming, like ads we create I invite all positive and negative criticism. Thanks.
that you got a response does not prove anything.
ANY AD can move the needle a bit.
every self-respecting ad agency has account people devoted to finding something positive to say about the effect of their ads.
you don't know how much you could have achieved with this campaign, you just know you achieved a little bit more than had you not run anything. all you prove with that argument is that it wasn't bad enough to get you fired.
