Jacques Brel

I got the assignment from a education involving Art. The assignment was: Pick a song and let us see what it is that you find beautifull about it. Execute it with Typography.

For the people who don't know Jacques Brel or Ne me quitte pas: It is about a girl leaving him and he wants her back.

The reason I made it like this is that I absolutely adore the way he sings it and how much passion is to be heard in his voice. Thats why I used his face and not mine.

*For effect, move a couple meters backwards / or a couple feet

did this effect before, it's okay. I think it would work better if the face was fully cropped, becuase the outline of the head feels awkward. otherwise it's quite nice.

the changing font sizes ruin it a bit for me. the effect with the picture is nice, no question. I think
that more typographic structure could help - only a few accentuated words. Also try some other Antiqua-variants.

I used the diffrent sized fonts whenever he sings louder or softer. Where the words were whispered, i used small letters, whenever shouted, larger letters. But yes maybe I couldve done more with sizes and placing.
