maybe people don't get it because they don't know how hot air balloon works.

I beg to differ with those who think this is great: if an idea stems from the fact that a product is a metaphor for 'hot' then literally zillions of ads can be created with the same concept. No constraint. Heater, electric stove, radiator....etc.

To make this visual better, I think you need to have a basket with the balloon, maybe some people in it, and have the bottle replace the flame that keeps the balloon in the air. Will offer a more subtle message....

unless its really amazing id try to avoid the simple 'its hot' route.
one of the best ads iv ever seen is the burger king spicy fries ad i cant seem to find the link but i think it is just right on the money for hot sauces, and some other foods.

as i said no link but its just one fry with the red sauce on the end and it looks like a match, so simple so clever.
