Would help if you had an actual river in the first one, but the idea still doesn't work here.

When I see the paper man, I don't think of the ones joined together at all. So I think most people will not understand this concept.

this doesn't work, pity your effort in visual execution, you should have scrapped the idea even before you touch the pen to write it down.

Concept seems weak and unclear. You also might want to take a second glance at your copy. Remember, not everybody see's your way of thinking. An ad that needs explaining is not an ad. Well, it is an ad. Just a bad one. Ok, I'll stop trying to write smart sentences now
