Crest whitening strips.

An ad posted for colgate earlier got me thinking... why is a person with yellow teeth smiling in the first place?

I think such a product should be selling confidence and vibrance. It should be about how that person feels after using the product and not such a see-say yellow-to-white approach.

Anyhow, with that strategy in mind heres my execution... opinions always wanted of course.

it might look like...take away crest and let your teeth shine!

I see what you mean, but its meant to replicate the action of peeling off a whitening strip, and the message at the back of the card clues the idea up... "love your smile".

It would be a magazine or direct mailer piece. its a peel off adhesive that sits on top of any coated paper.

the only thing and this is just me, that should it be a bit smaller instead of covering half of the face? maybe just a tiny strip by the lip? cool trick.
It feels like duct tape over mouth.

the point is to take her smile from less confident to extreme confidence though.

Great concept. The self-confidence angle is different and it also works.

Cool idea, but I think it would be better to have the yellow teeth as before and white as after.

Thats my whole point Ivan, the idea is that Crest will help people LOVE their smile. Lets be honest, someone with yellow teeth aren't going to be smiling very large with all of them showing in a model shoot right?

Crest are selling self confidence here is the strategy. A see-say yellow to white approach doesn't have the depth IMO.

Yes, I buy this rationale.
