Nice Ad... Just work on the art direction... Maybe shoot the book in a believable context on table in a room in the home etc. Also use a nicer book and make the watch strap look less like a worm lol.

oooooooooo...hate to be the one to say this but.........samsung is running this exact ad right now for some new slim phone. i cant find the link to it right now, but i just saw it yesterday. its exactly the same...good thinking, just a little slow is all.

I like it. But you need the book mark (watch) to be at the top or bottom if you want people to think it's a book mark.
Who book marks their book on the side? But it's a cool visual idea. And obviously the concept makes sense.

I'd add a really simple context, so the focus is on the book
and yeah, I think most people book mark on the top of the books, not at the bottom.

Also you might wanna change the angle of the photo a bit, making the book more noticeable

Its a damn Rip-off, g to Luerzers's Archives Vol-4 or something, there's a same campaign done for swatch...
