Isn't that a Hindu deva or some kind? Although I don't practice Hinduism, I'm sure this is religiously unright.

thanks a lot

yeah, tell that to the Dutch cartoonists that had a fatwa put on them for drawing Muhammad. Go ahead and toy with the idea of religion, but don't expect a positive response.

I agree with alvinpck. You shouldn't use religious symbols/icons in your adverts.

Axe at that time?

I think its a great Idea, if this had a bigger agencies name it would be taken for home page for sure...But you have done a good job. Its also important to relate your product/advertising to your culture.

I think it works.

Someone's gonna get struck by lightning over this imo.

And "eugenius", of course our job as creatives is to be as creative as possible. The end benefit of this is advertising which people enjoy, am I correct? But messing with religious symbolism is just stupid. All you end up doing is offending everyone, alienating readers, pissing them off. Ergo you are not creating enjoyable advertising.

I usually hate political correctness. Loathe it. But religion is just something you leave well alone 99% of the time.

Energizer Bunny arrested, charged with battery.

So you 'found' a picture and you place the logo of a famous product with a well developed concept. Where's 'your' thinking?

@ nice gaijin, "yeah, tell that to the Dutch cartoonists that had a fatwa put on them for drawing Muhammad. Go ahead and toy with the idea of religion, but don't expect a positive response".

It happened to be a Danish cartoonist.

The ad doesn't say Axe to me, Axe is crazy and wild.

stop trying to compete with campaigns that are already great.

you will lose.

all of you.

Today I have seen Lao-tzu and can only compare him to the dragon.
