I like how you decided to play with cartoons, but I feel that it doesnt work for the first poster, since you decided to promote a shampoo, wheres the hair!! lol

Firstly, Loco, you don't necessarily need to show hair in a hair ad. Secondly, this idea has already been done in a much realistic way - a show with hair in place of shoelace.

Loco, you sound like an account man. Of course you don't have to show hair. You just need to sjow strength. And yes, it's been done before, but this art direction is pretty sweet.

"And yes, it's been done before, but this art direction is pretty sweet."

So?

jshminhas: it has been done before. but don't feel bad, at least it shows you're thinking in a right way. now try to look further

So the art direction is sweet. That's my opinion. It's called a compliment. Are they no longer allowed?
And yes, keep looking, you simple style is promising.

owkay, i thought u were saying it's okay to do something when it's been done, as long the art direction is good. my bad

Oh, no, of course you can't do something if it's been done. it's pointless. Let's not forget that.

I dont know. Do kids really care about their shampoo?

BASW: Kids ain't buyin' it :) Kids'll pester their parents to buy whatever they recognize tho :)

That aside...in spite of everything that's wrong with these, I really dig 'em :) Yes, old idea; yes, the AD needs a little work...but whatevs, as an idea, it's very clever (provided it's jsminhas' thinking, of course ;P)

IF it's a kids shampoo, then its a nice idea.
But do kids really need protein shampoo to make their hair stronger. C'mon.
It still needs some work.

Ah my bad my bad...didnt notice the character was actually holding on to that piece of string. From a second look, it's pretty good. :)

Somehow the Tarzan one isnt as convincing!

good thought provoking idea - cartoons could do with a little tweaking to make them interact with the hair a little more(tarzan looks more like he's been pasted on the top rather than holding on to the hair), but it's a very good idea. i like it. :)

And I show Tyra Banks for hotwheels? Have you ever picked up a 'Cosmopolitan'?

god is good but will he listen

I think the ad is not targeting the right audience. Art direction is poor, spiderman one is fine, its looking like in air. But the tarzan sitting without base is little awkward. Try to improve.
