posters are not forced upon the market, they can easily go unnoticed, therefore need to be eye-catching and lure ppl into reading it. where as with print the viewer will be forced to take a glimpse at it as they are browsing through the mag or newspaper. it is whether or not you can stop them from turning the page.
When you walk into a mall...and you see small paper stuck on it...about 30 cm by 40 cm...that is a poster.
For sound....you need to talk to the store / commercial space's manager.
Difference between print and poster ....print ads appear on a reputed magazine/newspaper.

as far as i'm concerned the difference is quite easy: posters are, well posters. and print ads are those in newspapers, magazines etc. at least that's how we distinguish it in good old austria.

there is lots of diffrence between poster and print ads
like information,design,text,material(paper or baord),wht to show,where to show,etc.
as far as i'm concerned the difference is quite easy: posters are, well posters. and print ads are those in newspapers, magazines etc. at least that's how we distinguish it in good old austria.
posters are print ads. just big ones ;)
of course you can go deeper but that's the main difference
