You could have put it in "exhibition" forum so people can give critique there. Anyway, looks neat, wondering if they are real chinese characters and if they have real meaning.

Regarding the ad, I think the idea is good. Somehow the layout doesn't work. There is too much focus on the drapery.

I like the idea. but why the red rag? is there another symbolic meaning for that?

I guess red is "chinese". For them Red is a good color, represents good things like happiness and good luck. Chinese national flag is also red.
