Advertising Catchlines/Taglines

Hello Everyone

I am a freelancer and I want to take up Advertising as a career.I have good ideas for advertising campaigns. The problem is with the print advertising. If someone wants a sample of my work how can I send them a print format when I only concentrate much on the verbal part(Copywriting)and I have not done any ads before.Si how can I present work to them. Also please suggest me a few ad-critics who can review my work and let me know if its good enough.

Regards
Karan

First, if you really have a big problem with print ads...you might wanna reconsider your career choice.
Secong, maybe I understood it wrong, but you're just starting to get into advertising and you want to do freelancing right away? good luck, but i think that's gonna be more than just tough. freelancers depend on their contacts and therefore their well-known name, i don't think a beginner has much of a chance in this field. but prove me wrong :)

Everyone was once a beginner so you're not alone. Find an art director (possibly here) who is in a similar position as you, team up and create a spec book, concentrate on ideas, not how well finished they are. Important Note: Sketch all your ideas, if possible and create about a dozen. Simple clear ideas that stand out. Then start knocking on doors. Good luck.

If you kill my demons, my angels might die too.

I have to agree with hartspueler with the contact thing. You need to be noticed. If you cannot get them to see what you can do then there's nothing you can do. Great ideas are useless unless they are out there. Get a platform for yourself . Scribbler may have the way out. Good luck anyway.
