I have a random question...
I was hoping some one could explain the ad for... i think it is a pizza delivery, but there is a woman and her husband, they have 30 minutes before the pizza gets there, so they wonder what they could do with the 30 minutes, the man leans against the bedroom door frame and the woman imagines him in a small pink bathrobe....
if you have seen this ad, give me your thoughts
i am disagreeing with my gf about what the ad is implying....

yea, that's for domino's pizza. what are you two confused about?
the man suggests that they could have a quickie because the pizza will take 30 minutes to arrive. the woman doesn't seem too thrilled about that idea so she subtly puts him down by asking "what are we going to do with the other 28 minutes?" he nervously chuckles and then looks sad. it's kind of funny. the end.
it's like a little snippet from a sitcom. Funny dialogue with the conversation revolving around the domino's 30 minute delivery feature.
she's not imagining him in a small pink bathrobe, he changes (quickly) into it to 'set the mood' and make his intentions clear, and she crushes his self esteem by making a quip about how fast he is in bed.
yeah we werent sure if the implication was that he is fast in bed, or if she just wanted to see him in bathrobe... i guess it could be read either way...
...no, it's only meant one way, sorry.
What the ad implies and what any given member of the audience infers may be two entirely different things. It never fails to amaze me what people read into ads, especially TV.
