Somebody uploaded this campaign and I didn't feel like uploading it to the front page, but I wanted to share it with you and get your feeling about it.
Agency: DDB/Berlin; CD: Bastian Kuhn, Alex Weber-Gruen; Copy+Art: Philipp Cerny
It's pretty amusing. I can see why VW might not have gone for it. I'm suprised it got rejected at that level of finsih, unless it was for book work by the guys. Nice bit of fun though.
for the automotive sector this might be new.
but this is nothing fresh.
not taking away from the attempt.
it is definitrely better than just a car shot and saying an
unintelligible line like "from 9-5 to 0-60"
but nowadays your work has to be formidable to merely stand out.
seen too many of these visual tweaks. and this wasn't done
particularly brilliantly either. irrespective of whether
its for the book or the client the work should be finished.
maybe a new layout should do the trick ;)

I can assure you that it wasnt intended as awardwork or for the book - altough, in the end it was only for the book...
Great, better, than the one out now.
I like the concept. It's really fresh for automotive. Wish it was better image edited. I guess this is at layout stage, not finished product.
