Well, 'Be Mini' is the brand's slogan here in Brazil, so, I just used it as it is.
The strategy is to tell Mini cars are customizable, so a white car (which they don't make) means you get a blank car to do what you want. (We know there are only some parts customizable but, it's advertising.)
Why do you say so? What would it take to be "newer'? And also better executed?
Well, if looks like a big agency ad, even if old, I'm already happy. Nonetheless I gotta make a remark here: that I was supposed to follow Mini's latest communication style, which is quite minimalistic, to me.

If your instructor is telling you to just add some executions to an existing campaign (and a quite recognizable global campaign at that) demand your money back, your getting ripped off. No one ever got a job in this business from lifting existing work. Original ideas are the only reason you'll get hired as an AD or CW. Anybody can turn on a computer and drop in a picture or headline to an existing layout.

I agree it has nothing fresh here, neither original...but is this too bad looking? Be honest, because of your comment I'm seeing this ad different already, and I gotta improve myself.
Since the idea is no remarkable, what do you think about the art direction?
The design on the car is very convincing - so top marks for the work there. I might have zoomed out a little more on the car itself to give a little more breathing space. I don't find the idea exciting or clever - it's quite generic - but your execution is fine and the message you are portraying is clear.

Looks good!
Thanks Ivan.
Thank for your comment also, you are very diplomatic.
I don't get what you mean by - be mini? What's your strategy?

Do something DIFFERENT. Why do the same thing they had been doing? It's not giving them a reason to hire you.
Yeah, now you got a point.

Humm...yeah, both of you are right.

I appreciate all your comments till here.
hi, I think the art direction is ok, but the idea is irrelevant, that´s why the ad doesn´t work,
