5 pencils Miami ad school, desperate guy, need answers.

I'm considering Miami Ad school, Hamburg as a future, but i would like to ear some stories about former/ current students from there, in fact, i'm no position to choose, so any help will be welcome.
I would like to know if you found many obstacles in the way to get accepted?
Are there any other viable choices?
How was the experience when you attended MAS, Hamburg?

I live in the States and have no experience with Miami Ad School as I am currently deciding whether to take a risk and attend an event such as Portfolio Night and displaying some ads I designed or going to Miami Ad School and receiving a better understanding of the art director's roll and the advertising industry while also striving for greenhousing or internships at agencies.
However, I did come across a blog of a copywriter who attended Miami Ad School in Hamburg. His posts make for an interesting read and are very detailed. I would suggest you check it out on your spare time and hope that it may aid you in making a decision. The link is: http://robinstam.blogspot.com
