You really understood this as a choosing cancer? Interesting. It is rough idea but for me it has nothing to do with choosing disease. I was rather thinking to make somebody (women in this case) to be aware of breast examination importance.
Sometimes it goes just like You said. Cancer is killing women because it was detected too late. So this is sad but true, what You are seeing. And this is something that I wanted to point out. Not necessarily as mocking with the disease.
I think this is a good idea. I don't this this is a choice or that its mocking anything, it's just a reminder to do what you are supposed to and check your breasts and i think it works. only thing i would change is the warning symbol or whatever its called inside the pop up and put the pink ribbon instead. This is not really a warning given from your computer...and the symbol used now is not that friendly.
dsklan made a good point there.
Thanks for Your input. I was thinking that dialog box is naturally connected with some kind of OS or browser. And it is true that it fits better in that environment. But what if You will see this printed in a paper or magazine with a website address on bottom or corner or any other place. I think that people may notice that page amongst other – and one of reasons may be that it does not fit in paper.

So people who had or have cancer choose for it?? How do you think they are going to read this? To me this feels like you're mocking with the disease.

You're presenting cancer as people have a choice, to choose to examine or to get cancer. That's what I'm seeing.

yo, this is really good, but not as a print ad, but as an online banner what leads you to the b.cancer-site!
Thanks, You have point there.

"I don't live in Greece, Greece lives in me..."
Thanks, I will take that into consideration.

Avoid using gimmicks and disconnected things.

Thanks for Your opinion. Can You clarify what do You understand as disconected things in this case?

It's great as a banner. Not so much as print.
