New Member Intro: Seeking Career Advice

Hi, I am new to the forum. This is my first post. My name is Blake Huneycutt. I am an undergraduate at the University of Florida, majoring in advertising and will be graduating this December. I just returned from studying abroad in the Netherlands and am seriously considering trying my luck with my first job search in Europe. My original plan was to go the cliche route of moving to New York City, but after serious consideration and meeting a girl out there, I've decided that the Netherlands, i.e. Amsterdam, might be a unique and more educational experience that could enhance my resume much more than New York City ever could. I still plan on going back to school in the U.S. for my Masters or possibly portfolio school but wanted to work in the field for a few years to help me decide which route would be best. I have a well rounded resume which includes sales, marketing, public relations, research, campaigns, creative, and almost anything that I could dip my feet in within the advertising field. I am currently interning for a publishing company as a Social Network Strategist. I can only hope that my diverse experience will help me land a job after graduation. I realize that I will meet different challenges by pursuing a career in the Netherlands and was hoping that members on this board might have some advice and information that they could provide me about some of the Dutch ad agencies and seeking a job just out of college. I look forward to participating on this board and hope that it will help me with my future endeavors.
