first one is ok, but second one overdone with this mirror effect
None of the two works for me. In the first one I don't understand why the monks would use the product. In the second one, I don't see an idea.

I can't believe that advertising professional could go on this level... simply copying and pasting the visuals from some one's creative...

Sorry but I don't see anything similar to your ads in this newspaper.
Seeing similar ideas doesn't obligatory mean that it's a copycat (thought, it's quiet a big thing in the business. Check out www.joelapompe.com). It so happens that sometimes, different people just have the same idea.
But to be honest, I wouldn't get too much offended, given that your ads from 2007 aren't really good.
