I don't get the idea. And I don't see how this visual connects with Louis Vuitton bags.
No one cares about child labor, eye donation or saving the Earth: NO PSA!!! http://adsoftheworld.com/forum/135094
Idea is toy boy friends. Girls are always think like a bag their boy friends. Boys are not their toys. There is nothing about the bag.
Ok but how does that relate to Louis Vuitton bags? Because there's one in the visual and this is a site about advertising. Is it a tongue in cheek thing?
Maybe he's saying that if your bf buys you a LV bag, he shouldn't have to carry that shit around. True story.
these mean that girls should not play around with their boyfriends as they are not toys that should be played. Boyfriends also deserve respect.
I have to say that; bag is only an accessory in the scene. Not a main subject. This secene is tells us that; boys are not toys. Girls cannot use them like toy friends.
Dude, I really don't get that "boys aren't toys" thing you keep ranting about. Is this a joke or are you really serious about it? It's a really really weird subject to make an ad for.
Anyway, if that what you wanted to say with this picture, it's just doesn't work. It just look like a press ad for Louis Vuitton.
Indeed. What exactly is being sold here?
I think there is a cultural difference with you and us. Because when i show this pic. to my own people everybody understand the message and they didn't pay attention to the bag. This is a social ad. Not for money.
And who would "us" be?
I've traveled quiet a bit and I don't know any places where men being "mistreated" by women is anything close to a social issue.
A real social issue, however, which should suffer no "cultural" difference, is the way women are treated by men. Not that silly toy thing you brought up. It's more about being paid less, marginalized, raped, beaten, killed... In that sense, your ad here is a bit insulting. To say the least.
And sorry to break your bubble, but there is absolutely nothing remotely "social" about this. Asking your friends what they think about it won't really help. It just looks like a bad joke.
Anyway, as mattndan rightly said : "who cares?"
You can travel everywhere but you cannot be me. So you can not feel, see, hear what i can feel, see, hear in my social place. I am a graphic-design student in Turkey and I want develop myself. So I upload this idea here because in this site there are lots of people that know design rules. I disagree with you. Cultures are different so in my social place this ad. is very explanatory.
There must be a social difference because I have absolutely no idea what this is for either. What is the purpose of this ad? What are you selling? Is this your photography?
If what you're displaying here isn't an advertisement, what exactly would you like to be critiqued on?
Don't you get?! It's about these tens of millions of poor men who are subject to constant mockery by their evil girlfriends!! It's totally a genuine social issue, all the way up there with beaten up women (as if), homophobia (who cares?) and child labor (who needs studies anyway?)
