Question regarding portfolio.


For my portfolio I usual do 2-3 prints per ad/idea/product and maybe 5-7 different ads in my book. Sometime I mix in a magazine and billboard. And this is what people usually expect from portfolio.

My question is: What if I do 1 ad/idea/product and make 2 or maybe 3 very different campaigns for this product, just to show different angles and approaches. Has anyone done something similar? Please give me your feedback industry people and portfolio builders.

I'd say if you have 2 or 3 really good campaign ideas for 1 product, go for it.

But it's always better to have some diversity too.

Maybe have one in your print book and the rest on your online portfolio.
