Waffle House is everyone's favorite late-night diner—well, everyone who's ever visited any state between Pennsylvania and Arizona. The sign is iconic and unmistakable—a beacon to the road-weary and hungry. The food is simple, the staff is friendly and the patrons? Well, they're all over the map, too. Truck drivers taking a break on a long, cross-country haul; college students cramming for an exam; veterans sharing war stories; and young people refueling after a concert. There's always something to see because everybody's somebody at Waffle House.
