Millions of students here in the U.S lack the technology, internet connectivity and the skills required for success in today’s digital economy. For over a decade, Verizon Innovative Learning (VerizonInnovativeLearning.com), our award-winning education initiative, has been bridging the digital divide by providing technology, internet access, curriculum, and other resources to students and educators at under-resourced schools across the country.

Verizon Innovative Learning programs create impacts that change the trajectory in student’s lives. Students are taught in new and engaging ways aligned with the skills and proficiencies they will need to pursue careers that will set them up for success in the digital world.

Verizon’s commitment to education is further expanded through Verizon Innovative Learning HQ (Verizon.com/learning), which both complements the technology capabilities provided to Title 1 schools and goes beyond them to provide these next-gen learning opportunities to everybody.

Verizon Innovative Learning HQ is a free online K-12 education portal that provides next-gen learning for all and is available to all educators across the U.S. This free online resource helps to make next-generation learning tools and resources available to all students and educators across the United States. Specifically, Verizon Innovative Learning HQ includes free access to:

- A curated library of AR and VR educational experiences, made in partnership with leading ed-tech innovators and educators

- Standards-aligned lesson plans with customizable options to help meet unique learning needs and interoperability with other ed-tech tools

- Professional development resources aligned to research-backed microcredentials to help teachers learn new skills and feel more comfortable and confident bringing technology into the classroom

- Interdisciplinary, next-generation educational content, available on a variety of devices ranging from PCs and desktops to high-end VR equipment.
