In 2006, Dr. Kafayat Oluwatoyin Shafau, popularly known as "Kaffy" led her dance group to break the Guinness Book of Record for "Longest Dance Party" after they danced for 55hours and 40minutes. That was one of the highlights of her illustrious career. However, people know very little about her arduous journey to the top.
So, how do you use the story of a pioneer in the African dance scene to inspire the next generation of dancers? You let her tell her story in her own words.
"To Dance With Love" is Kaffy's beautiful love letter to dance, detailing her ups, downs and in-betweens on her journey to becoming the force that she is today. Aside from featuring in the ad, she also played a pivotal role in delivering the story, including her actual daughter and sister having cameos in the commercial.
