The Women Beside him

Kenneth Kaunda was a prominent Zambian activist and politician who played a pivotal role in the country's independence movement and subsequent governance. He was instrumental in Zambia's liberation from British colonial rule, leading the nation to independence in 1964. Kaunda earned respect both domestically and internationally for his dedication to African unity and development. However, like many influential leaders, he didn't achieve his goals alone. Behind him stood unsung female heroes who molded and supported him, making his vision a reality. In commemoration of Kenneth Kaunda Day, the W Community ZM, a female empowerment platform, has chosen to spotlight some of these remarkable women.
