Waste sorting program “Latvian Green Point” has been educating and encouraging people to sort waste in Latvia for years. Even though as a country we're gradually adopting a responsible and sustainable way of living, the recent results of a “Latvian Green Point” study show that there is still a long way to go.
To dramatize the whole situation in a funny way, the campaign looked at things from a distance. From a distance very far away. A classic alien abduction story was played out as a waste sorting awareness message.
Extraterrestrials kidnap an earthling who takes out the trash and starts the examination process. Instead of the earthling, they begin to dissect the trash bag. The contents of the trash bag surprise the green men and their conclusion is that we are dangerous only to ourselves.
