Volvo had a problem: How to lead the way in technology to protect people and make them feel safe?

We had a solution, a very comfortable one.

Saver Jacket

The first jacket that turns into an airbag.

First, we discovered a significant concern, according to the report of “The Platform Economy in Latin America and the Caribbean" published by the Inter-American Development Bank. In Latin America, there are 18 million delivery drivers, and over 70% of them experience traffic accidents.

Accidents that could be fatal.

That's why we created Saver Jacket, the first jacket made with Volvo's 7 airbag technology, protecting vital points and activating in any type of accident, whether big or small. Our goal is to reduce mortality and make everyone feel safer on the streets, even those who travel outside of a Volvo.

This student campaign titled 'Saver Jacket' was published in Chile, Colombia, and Sweden in April, 2023. It was created for the brands: AKQA, Cannes Lions, and Volvo, by ad school: Bendita Carpeta.
