No More Zombies

Agencies: GUT GUT Toronto

Description

Tim Hortons Declares Enough with the Zombies, Grab a Coffee!

Halloween may be over, but a spooky sight remains on Canadian streets: tired people who look like zombies. The resemblance is uncanny, especially when they haven't had their morning coffee from Tims. But with Halloween officially over, Tims is here to help Canadians shake that zombie look.

To create this campaign, Tims hit the streets to capture real people who were incredibly tired and embodied that “zombie feeling” we all know too well. Each shot is a reminder that while Halloween may be over, the zombie feeling lingers for many until they get their hands on a much-needed cup of Tims. The takeaway? Enough with the zombies; come back to life with a freshly brewed cup of Tim Hortons coffee.

"With 'No More Zombies,' we're hitting on that groggy, zombie vibe we've all felt, not just the morning after Halloween, but any day without our Tims coffee," says Heather MacLeod, Director of Marketing at Tim Hortons. "Halloween is great, but walking around like a zombie all year round? That’s no fun. It's time for Tims."

The spooky campaign, which was created in partnership with GUT Toronto, will run in OOH and on social media to reduce zombie sightings.

This professional campaign titled 'No More Zombies' was published in Canada in November, 2023. It was created for the brand: Tim Hortons, by ad agencies: GUT and GUT Toronto.
