I believe every life has a significant and powerful story to tell. It appears to me that - when you read into anyone’s story, it is best not to judge a book by its cover. Perhaps with each turn of the page, we’ll see… we still have a lot to learn. I have learned that even as you read into the best stories… At some point or another, we all struggle. We need a hand. And, not necessarily a hand out, but more like a hand UP. So, when I look back and try to learn from the various scenes of my life, I think about the people who helped me the most – It was those who have learned that we are all created equal. Those who were forces for good. Those who help others write… a better story. I’ve learned that life is about integrity, and commitment. it’s about standing tall, standing strong and staying true. And, as I turn the page on the next chapter of my life, I think about the lessons I’ve learned. In my book, I am certain that my story is not done, That our collective story continues. And the best lessons taught me that in the end, the moral of the story… Is that Good… Good always surfaces. Good rises to the top, no matter what – GOOD… goes forward. We’re Independence Bank.
