Description

The first amendment to the legal regime relating to weapons and ammunition - known as the Firearms Law - is an important initiative in the sense of mitigating the growing urban violence associated with the possession and illegal use of firearms, conventional and homemade, ammunition or weapons white in Cape Verde.

The campaign seeks to make an impact based on a truth: that urban crime is frightening not only because of the material losses it entails, but also because it generates a great long-term psychological impact on victims, their families and society in general.

The pieces show a sequence of sentences that are interrupted by a hole caused by a bullet, giving the idea of a point that abruptly ended the sentence and, consequently, that life. In order to create greater proximity to the audience, two of the phrases are said and written in Kriolo, the most widely spoken language in Cape Verde.
