Bushmills Irish whiskey, the oldest licensed whiskey distillery in the world, is launching ‘Follow No One’ a nationwide campaign that encourages consumers to forge their own path.

The cinematic-style campaign references the legend of Finn Mccool - a folktale where a giant named Finn builds a path from the north coast of Ireland across the sea after being challenged to a duel by his fierce Scottish counterpart. Legend has it that what’s left of the pathway created by Finn is what’s known today as “The Giant’s Causeway” - one of the world’s most awe-inspiring, natural phenomena located just three miles from the Old Bushmills Distillery.

Drawing parallels between Finn’s determination to build a path for himself where none had formerly existed and Bushmills’ storied history of unwavering commitment to making Ireland’s best whiskey for over 400 years no matter the trial or tribulation, “Follow No One” is a powerful ode to those who defy the odds and blaze their own trail.”

Depicting breathtaking landscapes of The Giant’s Causeway and imagery of Bushmills’ award-winning single malt portfolio, the :30 second hero spot, and complementary suite of cut-downs, will roll out across social, programmatic, search, and digital partnerships including the New York Times and Vox throughout 2023 and beyond.
