In 2021 we saw the “great resignation” as countless people began quitting their jobs. What if Call of Duty Warzone leveraged this to appeal to a wider audience? With both gamers and non-gamers alike now looking for new positions, what if Warzone itself became … a job?

We created CodCoin, a new cryptocurrency earned by playing Warzone. Going a step beyond the free-to-play formula, we decided to actually pay players. By using a portion of microtransaction revenue, Warzone offers CodCoin salaries. The longer you play, the more you get paid, and the more you can spend in game.

Warzone is not only a job, it’s the coolest job ever. The best part: everyone is qualified.
