CLR Brands will launch the very first national campaign of its newly minted AOR partnership with Periscope, a Quad Company.

The campaign, titled “Been There. Outdone That.” and created by Periscope in its first foray into cleaning product advertisements, was developed to stand out from the typical cleaning commercial that cuts to heavenly white spaces where everything turns perfectly clean with a swipe of a single paper towel. The campaign challenges the unrealistic conventions of cleaning category ads, where every spot shows immaculate kitchens and bathrooms with pristine white tile and no countertop clutter.

CLR Brands wanted to show consumers that they’re the #1 choice for people who want a cleaning product that works as hard as they do — those who aren’t afraid to roll their sleeves up and expend some elbow grease in the name of all that is good and clean. The spots purposely highlight use cases not often shown in cleaning commercials, like garages, grimy faucets, and garbage disposals, to reinforce CLR Brands as the dependable favorite in any situation.
